Will Taking just one months supply of birth control work for that one month?
Okay so I am not on birth control but I have a serious bf and really wanna be. My older sister is switching birth control cuz it's too expensive and gave me her last months full supply cuz she clearly doesn't need it anymore. If I take it just for one month, will it like...work for that one month? I know you start it the first day you get your period and then a week later is when it legitimately starts working..so is it ok? It would probably take the entire first month for the birth control to build up in your system. It's not something that just works instantly. The efficacy of birth control in the first month is actually pretty low, so if you were using that as your only form of birth control, there's a good chance you'd end up pregnant.
